How we compared

We read TheFork Manager’s pricing pages in English and in French on 16 October 2026. Both ask you to request a price for every plan, and neither gives the commission rate. So the only TheFork figure in our sums is an estimate: about €2 a cover. It is ours, not TheFork’s.

ResOlio wrote this article, so read it as our own comparison. Every TheFork fact comes from TheFork’s own pages, with the day we read them, and the sources are listed at the end. Where we found nothing, the table says so.

What it costs at your volume

On ResOlio, your bill is your plan: €59 a month on Plus, for up to 1,500 bookings, however full the room. TheFork’s commission is a percentage of your average bill for each guest it brings, so it grows with your covers and with your prices. See every plan.

A month at 100, 500 and 1,500 covers, each brought by TheFork at about €2 (our estimate), beside ResOlio’s flat price. TheFork: our estimate of about €2 a cover; TheFork does not publish its rate.

The sums are our estimate, not TheFork’s price: about €2 for every cover, with no subscription added, because TheFork publishes none. Guests who book on your own website, Instagram or Facebook carry no commission there, so the real bill depends on where your guests come from. On ResOlio, a plan counts bookings, not covers: at two or three guests a table, 1,500 covers is 500 to 750 bookings, inside Plus’s 1,500 a month.

As a month fills from 100 to 1,500 covers, a fee per cover grows while ResOlio Plus stays at €59.

Your page and your embed, from Free

Every plan, Free included, gives you your own booking page and an embed for the website you already have. Guests book with you, on your page. Guests never pay: no deposit, no card at booking, no no-show fee. See the booking page.

Your booking page, as a guest sees it. It never asks for a card.

English, French and Arabic

Every plan speaks three languages: the dashboard, your booking page and your guests’ emails. Arabic runs right to left, and numbers stay in Latin digits. Each tablet keeps its own language, so a team can work in French while guests book in Arabic. Your own words, such as your house rules, are written once for each language.

Olio, on your page and on WhatsApp

Olio is ResOlio’s AI host, included in the plan. From Starter, a guest can book on your page by writing the day, the time and how many they are, and Olio offers only the times you really have free. On Plus, guests book by writing to Olio on WhatsApp. Nothing is booked until the guest taps, and Olio never takes a card. Meet Olio.

A guest book that is yours

A guest who books with you is your guest, on your own page. On Pro, the guest book keeps each guest’s visits, tags, dietary history and no-shows, and you can export the whole list. It is never sold, never shared and never joined with another restaurant’s. An allergy a guest declares while booking reaches your host on every plan, even Free. See the guest book.

Who ResOlio is for

  • An owner who wants a price to read and plan around, with no commission on any guest.
  • A restaurant whose guests already find it: on its website, Instagram, Google Maps or by word of mouth.
  • A team, or guests, who read French or Arabic.
  • A restaurant whose guests would rather book on WhatsApp.
  • An owner who wants to start free and set everything up before paying. Compare the three ways to take a booking.

Switching from TheFork

You can set everything up before you pay, and run both books until you are ready.

  1. Set up your restaurant

Add your hours, your tables and your booking page. Nothing is public until you go live.

  2. Bring your guests and future bookings

On Pro, import them from a CSV file. You see what would be added, merged or refused before anything is saved.

  3. Run both books

Your staff take bookings in ResOlio while your page stays closed.

  4. Go live

One switch puts your page and your embed live. Then change the booking link on your website and your social pages.

Before you leave, ask TheFork how to export your guests and what notice your agreement asks for: its pricing pages do not say. Bookings already taken there stay valid: honour them on the night, or bring them across with the import on Pro. Switch to ResOlio.
