Deleting your data.
Any guest can ask to be erased, and any restaurant can leave.
If you are a guest.
If you made an account.
Close it on your account page at once and for good; a restaurant’s own record of your visits stays.
What closing clears
- Your name and phone number
- Your dietary notes and table preference
- Your favourite restaurants
- Your login, and every booking’s link to you
If you only ever booked a table.
Then your details are in one place: the book of the restaurant you booked with.
Ask them, and staff can export and erase your record from an office computer.
What an erasure clears.
It empties your record and keeps the booking.
Your name, email, phone, dietary record, every staff note and the free text you typed go, and your upcoming bookings, waiting-list places and table alerts are cancelled at every restaurant of that owner. A no-show mark (Pro and Enterprise) stays for the twelve months it counts.
Contact details are removed after twenty-four months.
We don’t wait for a request, since most guests never make one.
Twenty-four months after a guest’s last visit, if there is no account behind the record and nothing booked ahead, a daily job removes their email address, phone number and dietary record. The visit history stays.
Stopping the reminders, keeping the booking.
Every reminder carries a one-click unsubscribe, so nothing has to be deleted.
How far it goes
- It stops that restaurant’s reminders, including any already queued
- Your confirmation and cancellation emails still arrive
- Table-alert emails have their own unsubscribe, which covers every restaurant of that owner
- It survives an erasure, stored without your address
If you are a restaurant.
Pause the plan and keep everything.
Your booking page stops taking new bookings until you switch the plan back on.
Archiving one restaurant.
If you run several and only one of them is closing, archive that one instead.
It disappears at once from every page your guests see, its confirmation links stop opening and a table held mid-booking is released. Its bookings, history and staff access stay, and you can reopen it.
Closing the account, for good.
One email from the sign-in address and a person does it; your guests’ records are never sold or handed to another restaurant.
There is no button for it in the office, and no delete for a restaurant anywhere in the product. We confirm what will happen, and your page stops taking bookings that day; everything is deleted 30 days later, and until then one email undoes it. We tell you when it is done.
Take your figures with you first.
Your guest list downloads from the office on Pro; for every booking as well, write to us and we will send it.
- Covers by day, from Insights (every plan)
- One guest’s full record, without staff notes (every plan)
- Turned-away bookings, by reason (Pro and Enterprise)
- Your whole guest list (Pro and Enterprise)
What to put in the message.
Include these and we can act on your first message; we will never ask for a password or a card number.
From a guest
- The restaurant’s name
- The email address or phone number you booked with
- The booking reference printed on your confirmation email
From a restaurant
- Write from the address the account signs in with
- The restaurant’s name, and the address its booking page is on
- What you want done with the guest records
The address is hello@resolio.app.
