Turned-away report · On Pro

See who tried to book and could not.

On Pro, you see each refusal with the time they asked for, the party size and the reason.

Insights
A restaurant owner at an empty table before service, reading a printed page, the dining room laid and waiting behind her.

Know what you turned away, and why.

Each reason is counted apart, so you can tell a full room from a setting you can change.

  • No table free

No table that seats them was free at that time.

  • The pacing cap

A table was free, and your own cap said no.

  • Too close to the sitting

They asked with less notice than you take online.

See the party sizes you turn away.

For each party size, the report counts how often no table was free and how often your own cap said no.

See what each guest did next.

Each refusal is listed with its night, time, party and reason, and whether an online guest then joined your waiting list.

Refused requests, not lost bookings.

A party turned away at eight that then books at nine is in both counts, and the report says so.

Questions about the turned-away report.

Can I see the business I turned away?

Yes, on Pro. Each refusal names its one cause, and when your own pacing cap was the cause, the report links to the pacing grid.

How do I know the numbers are honest?

Every figure comes from what your staff marked, and a booking nobody marked is shown as never marked rather than guessed. Each report ends with “How this is counted”, which says what every figure means and what the screen cannot know.

Can I get my data out?

Yes, as spreadsheets: the covers report on every plan, and on Pro the turned-away report and your whole guest list, in the columns the import reads back. For every booking as well, write to us and we send it.

Will you compare me against other restaurants?

Never. Your numbers are yours, and nobody else’s are ever part of your report.
