Waiting list · On Pro
Fill the table a no-show left.
When you are full, walk-ins and online guests join one list, and each freed table is offered to the first party it fits.
Two ways onto the list.
Both land in one queue, in the order they joined.
From your booking page
When tonight is full for their party, your booking page offers the list where the times would be.
At the host stand
Your host types a name and a party size. No email needed.

Every party can see where it stands.
A live page shows how many parties are ahead of them, but never promises a wait time.
Each offer holds the table for a set time.
It goes out on its own, and the table stays in that party’s name until the time runs out.
Held until 19:42
Seven minutes by default, set by you.
Running late
“I’m on my way” adds five minutes, once.
By email
A walk-in with no address shows Not emailed — ring, with the number.
A waiting list for future dates.
Guests who ask about a full date are emailed when a table opens, so your host makes no calls.
A window
Party size, and up to four hours.
An address
Confirmed once, by email. Staff can add one already confirmed.
The alert
An email when a table opens in that window, with a link to book. The first to book takes it.
Questions about the waiting list.
Can I run a waiting list at the door?
Yes, on Pro. The waiting list opens from the service screen, so the host adds a party without leaving tonight’s bookings, and each guest gets a live page showing how many parties are ahead of them: by email, or shared by the host from their row.
What if a guest doesn’t turn up?
You mark it, and the table is free again straight away, with nothing sent and nobody charged. On Pro, the no-show is recorded on that guest’s profile.
Can guests be told if something opens up on a full date?
Yes, on Pro. A guest leaves a party size and the times that suit them, and when a table genuinely opens they get one email with a link to book it.
Do you send text messages as well as email?
No. Confirmations, reminders and waiting-list messages all go by email.
Run the queue on Pro or Enterprise.
Pro covers one restaurant, and Enterprise covers a group of them.
